Somango Farm business has been improving the standard of living to its employees and the society at large as it focus on:
Reducing poverty: Not only to the employees but also to the society since the totel number of individuals impacted by the project is expexted to increase by 93 folds in 10 years.
Zero hunger: Since the company's main objective is provision of fruits and procesed products, so somango farm utilize the 400 acres with 36,000 mango trees by 2023 which will produce about 2,700 tonnes by 2029.
Gender equality: The company has been able to employ 5 women on temporary based and there are two women suppliers.
Decent work and economic growith: It is projected that the farm and the business will employ about 250 employees by 2029, whereby individuals employed by the farm will receive regular trainings, on job and off-job, regarding best method of managing the farm.
